NGO Registration Process Details
The NGO resistration process commences with establishing an EDN account. Complete the NGO Registration, which entails providing information on your organization’s business activities (Part 1) and a signed disclosure and consent form (Part 2, required for your NGO organization and each 5% or greater shareholder) to authorize a background check(s).
The EDN Program Manager will review the Registration and provide feedback. Once the EDN Manager confirms that the Registration (Part 1 and Part 2) is complete, and has received an electronically-transmitted copy of the Registration, background checks will be ordered as appropriate. At this time, the EDN Manager will also instruct you to mail signed, hard copies of the Part 2 to OPIC.
The EDN Manager will notify you via email when the background check is complete and an EDN NGO Agreement is ready for execution. Log back in to your EDN account and download the EDN NGO Agreement for signature and mail the signed Agreement to OPIC for execution. You will be notified via email when your Agreement has been executed by OPIC, and your official entry into the EDN network is confirmed.
