YOU’RE INVITED: FINANCE TRAINING AT ICSB-GWU “GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP” CONFERENCE

OPIC’s Enterprise Development Network (EDN) has engaged Moody’s Analytics to train business consultants focused on supporting business development growth in developing markets. Participants will obtain a Moody’s Analytics completion certificate for:

  • Credit Underwriting
  • Assessing Equity Investments
  • Conducting Due Diligence
  • Constructing Financial Models
  • Writing Business Plans

Participants will broaden their skills in preparing loan and investment proposals for lenders and equity investors for their clients to present to lenders and equity investors.

The three-day training is $500 for EDN Partners and EDN applicants through partner scholarships, and $1,000 for participants without EDN affiliation – a significant savings from the $4,000+ normal rate.
On September 10th tuition will increase to $600 and $1,100, respectively; so register today!

Participants in the EDN-Moody’s Analytics Training are invited to attend a conference that will be held immediately after the training.The third annual International Council for Small Business (ICSB)-George Washington University (GW) Global Entrepreneurship Research and Policy Conference will take place on 11-13 October 2012. The conference will provide an opportunity for those supporting entrepreneurship and business creation to explore current issues and the latest advances.

The conference has four main components: a database fair with a full day of opportunities for informal discussions with database originators; presentation of scholarly work on business creation; keynote speakers, panels, and workshops on the latest policy issues; and training sessions on important data sets.
