GOV Registration Process Details
The GOV registration process commences with establishing an EDN account. Complete the GOV registration, which entails providing information on your organization's activities (Part 1) and – if the GOV entity is not part of the US Government - a signed disclosure and consent form (Part 2, which may be needed for your GOV entity and each 5% or greater shareholder or funding benefactor) to authorize a background check(s).
The EDN Manager will review the Registration and provide feedback. Once the EDN Manager confirms that the Registration is complete, and has received an electronically-transmitted copy of the Registration, background checks will be ordered if necessary. At this time, the EDN Manager will also instruct you to mail signed copies of the Part 2 to OPIC.
The EDN Manager will notify you via email when the background check is complete (if required) and an EDN GOV Agreement is ready for execution. Log back into your EDN account and download the EDN GOV Agreement for signature and mail the signed Agreement to OPIC for execution. You will be notified via email when your Agreement has been executed by OPIC, and your official entry into the EDN network is confirmed.
